Buying a property can be hard work – it takes a lot of time, as well as an in-depth knowledge of the location you are looking in. The process can be especially daunting for first home buyers, which is why Anita and Andrew decided to use a Buyer’s Agency.
Living in Sydney, the couple required someone local to inspect properties on their behalf. They knew they would struggle to find the time to get to midweek inspections and were worried they would miss out on good properties as a result. As first home buyers, they also wanted some advice on the buying process.
“A friend of mine recommended Property Solutions 101,” Anita said. “I was told they worked quickly which I liked the sound of – I didn’t want house hunting to turn into a six month process.”
Anita sent our team a list of properties they had found online, which we were able to visit and provide feedback on, as well as provide information about other possibilities.
“The Property Solutions 101 team listened to what we were after and gave good market advice,” Anita continued. “We didn’t necessarily have a fixed idea of what we wanted but getting advice helped us define our needs.”
Anita and Andrew had a list of preferred locations and we drove the couple around these areas – inspecting a number of houses as well as informing them on what surrounding houses were worth.
“This was very helpful, so when we found the house we liked, I felt confident we were getting a nice house in a good area, for the right price.”
Our Buyer’s Agents understand how stressful contract exchanging can be, so we made sure the process was as simple and efficient as possible.
“Property Solutions 101 did most of the work – they were fast, responsive and helpful when I wasn’t aware of the buying process. The team managed the contract exchange and ensured it ran smoothly, which I appreciated because I struggle with managing different parties at once – especially when I’m at work during the week,” Anita said. “It was actually great to have them coordinate everything.”
Anita and Andrew are still living in Sydney while they wait for the exchange to settle in a few weeks and plan to move into their property next year.
“I love the suburb. I didn’t think we would get into that area on our budget but we did!”
“The Buyer’s Agent fee is worth spending because I feel they negotiated a good price on the property, and I was confident the property was worth what we paid – I wouldn’t have had that confidence without the team.”
“Overall it was a quick and painless experience. I’d recommend most people use a Buyer’s Agent and the Property Solutions 101 team – especially first home buyers or those who don’t live in the area.”
